Multifunctional building MFA Voorn in Utrecht

PROJECT

Commissioned by the municipality of Utrecht, the new multifunctional building MFA Voorn was designed by Beuving Architecten and Sineth Architecten. The design contains two primary schools, a nursery, an after-school care and a double gymnasium. The project was carried out by Van Dillen bouw and Ruitenbeek Projektafbouw.

MATERIAAL PLAFOND:
BRUYNZEEL PERFOSOUND LINE

The material used on the ceiling is linear grooved slats from the Bruynzeel Perfosound Line collection. This concerns the 28/4 type, which means 4mm wide grooves and a ridge width of 28mm. These linear grooves are applied on the visible side and the material is counter-drilled at the rear. All this is finished with a black acoustic fleece. This makes the material air-open and has a so-called perforation degree. Due to this degree of perforation i.c.m. the insulation material on top of the ceiling is able to absorb sound.

Law firm in Diemen

PROJECT

We supplied Antisone panels to a law firm in Diemen to achieve high sound absorption on the walls. This ensures the acoustic comfort of this new office. The architect really wanted to use the Bruynzeel Antisone Studio panels here, supplemented with acoustic advice.

These panels have a chestnut veneer on the visible side and this veneer is finished with a clear lacquer. In addition, we also supplied the edge moldings with the same chestnut. This creates a cohesive whole with a luxurious appearance as a result.

MATERIAL WALLS:
BRUYNZEEL ANTISONE STUDIO 23/4

There are 4mm wide grooves on both the front and the back of these panels. The grooves on the front provide contact with the round channels in the interior of the panels. The grooves on the back make the material air-open and ensure contact with the insulation material behind it. These double grooves achieve a higher sound absorption compared to the Bruynzeel Antisone Standard.

Depending on the desired acoustic result, Bruynzeel Antisone panels can also be chosen. This material is grooved only on the front side.

Bruynzeel Antisone (Studio) panels are available in different types woodveneer and can be supplied lacquered and unlacquered . So, choose an appearance that best fits with the interior of the room.

Auditorium Antwerpen

PROJECT

In a lecture hall, on the one hand, it is important that there is not too much reverberation. But the most important thing in education is that the teacher’s speech can be clearly understood. This is what you call speech intelligibility. The audience must be able to hear everything clearly, no matter where they sit.

This was also the case in the auditorium of the University of Antwerp. By using the perforated panels, speech intelligibility was greatly increased.

MATERIAL WALLS:
PERFORATED PANELS

The material used on the walls is perforated panels. Click here for the product page.

Perforated panels are very suitable for combining high acoustic values with design. The variation in design, thickness, finish and absorption value ensures wide applicability.

Perforated panels often fit very nicely in a sleek design. In addition, these panels provide a very good acoustic result and these panels are also a wise choice in terms of safety.
